“Oral Astronomy” is a project that draws the entire invisible emotional map of the range of changes in human provision: from visual-aesthetic ones caused by pure vanity, medical necessity and physical pain due to inevitable dental intervention to existential insurances from the unknown, the vast cosmos and pain as a whole. In most cases, the patient/viewer experiences intolerance at the sight of dental turbines and dental nerve extractors, strongly associated with causing pain that reaches the brain through neurons. Scientists have long discovered numerous similarities between the structures of neural networks in the human brain and the networks of galaxies that make up the universe. “Peroral Astronomy” seeks and explores this seemingly imperceptible connection, through the recontextualization of fear.
